Lisbeth Salander is flown to Sahlgrenska Hospital, because she was shot by her father, Alexander Zalachenko. She was buried alive by her half-brother Ronald. After she surgery, she is moved to I.C.U. and could only be visited by police, doctors, nurses, and her lawyer Annika. Her father was also critically injured and was moved next door to her in the SAME hospital. Ronald is on the run because he murdered a police officer. Ronald car-jacks and kid-naps a woman during his escape. 


Evert, who is the founder and former chief shoots Alexander dead at his hospital bed and them commits suicide. 
Since Lisbeth is Alexander's daughter, she inherits all of his properties and wealth. Lisbeth refuses to talk any of it. Lisbeth goes to an abandoned factory in her father's estate to investigate because she was suspicious. There she finds 2 dead women and Her half- brother, Ronald, who had been there hiding there from the police. 


Lisbeth nails Ronald's to the ground with a nail gun. She left the warehouse and reported Ronald's location to the head of the Svavelsjö Biker gang. He rushes over seeking revenge against Ronald. After the gang gets there, Lisbeth alerts the police to the warehouse with Ronald and the bikers. Lisbeth watches the police enter the building and she leaves as the biker gang take their revenge on Ronald. The police arrest of kill the members of the gang.
