Blog Assingment #13: Declaration of Independence

1.How are the core values of American democracy incorporated into the Declaration?
The core values unite all Americans. Some of the core values are: Justice- People should be treated fairly or the quality of being fair is just. Equality- the quality of being the same in measure or value or status. Patriotism- Love of a country and willingness to sacrifice for it.

2. What responsibilities does the government have to honoring these core values?
The government has to treat citizens as equals before the law. 

3. What responsibilities do individual citizens have to preserve these core values?
Individuals have to purse happiness in their own way. They have to work together with other members for the greater benefit of all. Also, they can make their own lifestyle.

4. How might some or all of these core values be important to the preservation of a free and independent press?
Some of these values are important  because it lets people know that we are a free country. Also that we have patriotism and equality.

5. Liberty and justice are the values that allow private citizens to collect, edit and further distribute information to others. The values help drive these actions because it lets the citizens know what they can do, and for other people; they cant stop them and tell them it's wrong.

6. What responsibilities do producers of information have to these core values and their fellow citizens when distributing information?
Producers of information have a responsibility of truth and liberty.
